There's been a lot of outrage within Asian American social media. Asian American elders are being killed and assaulted (which is nothing new by the way) and the community is frustrated with the lack of mainstream media representation. I'm here to breakdown the two schools of thought within our community and point out exactly what the problems are and how we can move forward.
Are these violent crimes ultimately the result of white supremacy and Asian Americans anti-blackness? Do we need to hold the black community accountable for these violent attacks? How do we move forward in a logical and tangible way? Let's discuss.
