After Mike interviewed Greg at Gosh! Comics in London (see episode 40), he also had the fortune of meeting the creators of the featured book this episode who were there for a signing. So, of course, Mike picked a couple of signed copies for himself, and his Campus Comics Cast cohosts, Shaad and Scott. So, as an additional pick up by Mike, Damn Them All met the criteria for a Pitstop episode of the Roadshow, and as a guest, he nabbed Shaad! Shaad loves horror comics and this comic did not disappoint. If you have listened to any episodes of the Campus Comics Cast from 2021 to 2024, you know that Shaad was a member. While he loves comics, his real passion is music. In fact, he is created and recorded the intro music for the Roadshow! He’s an independent musician and singer-songwriter and is largely recognized for his work as part of the musical duo Shaad and Thomas. The duo released an EP titled More Of Us, which is available across major music streaming platforms. He actively performs in the regional music circuit across southern and central Illinois, frequently gigging at local music venues and festivals. You can also find him and his music on Facebook and Instagram, as well as shaadschubert.com and shaadandthomas.com. Find and follow Gosh! Comics at https://goshlondon.com/, on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/GoshComicsLondon/ and Instagram @goshcomics. And if you are fortunate enough to visit London, please stop by at 1 Berwick St, London, W1F 0DR, UK. You won’t be disappointed! Many thanks to Shaad for joining me for the great discussion and to the creators of Damn Them All, Si Spurrier, Charlie Adlard, Sofie Dodgson, and Jim Campbell, for the great book and the chance to meet them!
