Stoked to find this show!
Love the conversations and relatively local vibe to me in TN. Great interviews!

Like having a great coffee convo with buddies
Just a couple of dudes (and guests) talking bikes and fun. The world famous Ted and the infamous John put me on to this pod and I really like it. A sip of your favorite bourbon, a cold beer with pals after a warm ride, coffee around the campfire with buds, having fun on bikes, this show captures it all. Mr. MTBMD

There’s some good info here, if you are a local. But lots of gibberish and short hand so hard yo follow.

Overall good show
Show is a good listen, but a little less of Brian will make it better. He is a bit too full of himself and talks over everyone.

Bike knowledge and Friendly Chemistry
This is a great show. The hosts know bikes and gravel, but they also evidently enjoy hanging out and talking about it. Listen closely as you may catch some super pro tips and knowledge. I would recommend throwing in a few more 101 level episodes to try to reach people who are new to the market.

After listening to the group I was excited to meet them all at the Philly Expo... It was a great time. When you listen you feel like you are sitting at the kitchen table with them... Thanks for being joy to my drive home from work #loveyabye

Ear Breach at its finest!!!!!
5 stars guys and gal, just recently sampled the podcast and instantly found my peeps!!!! I’m currently a roadie whom was torn between dirt or asphalt. After a few rides of my Cannondale Caad 12 on gravel and dirt I was hooked and now I am in the process of converting to full time gravel and adventure. Could not get enough of the shows insight and hilarity...so went back and binged every episode to my surprise it wasn’t painful at all and kept me laughing, snorting coffee outa my nose and entertained for days/weeks!!! Keep up the good work and I will be waiting anxiously for the next episode!!!! Sincerely, Spinning Taco.

Not my thing, but you might enjoy!
I hung in there for the first 28 episodes. There are some good tidbits of info and good recommendations. This is meant as a fun, weekly gather around a pint and talk about the week type podcast. I was hoping for more interviews and a tiny bit of tech talk. The guys seem great, and my rating is really only reflecting Audio Quality and the constant talking over each other, interrupting, and derailing someone else’s thought mid story. I skipped ahead to see if any of this improved later on but it was more of the same. Poor audio, levels all over the place. I wanted to love it and wish them the best. Sidenote: the Strava club segments can be very long and they get interrupted continuously. I hope I wasn’t too harsh. Good group of people, I just have to move on to content that fits me better.

I had the pleasure of meeting a few of the gravel travel dirt guys in the rain on top of Hobo vista the day before UnPAved. I was helping mark the 90mile course with my friends Kelly and Patrick. Also we ran Aid 1 The Ranch on race day so we wanted to ride the 90mile course the day before to enjoy the beautiful ride. They were super friendly and gave us #loveyabye stickers. Who knew we were talking to the Famous Joey, Brian and Wes. Well first impressions go a long way. I listed to the podcast many times since. I as well enjoy the banter and silliness they provide. I appreciate that they share gravel adventures experiences from a non-competitive nature. Keep up the great work.

Great podcast!! These guys embody what makes gravel cycling so magnetic. They aren’t “elite, professional cyclists” tooting their own horns, they’re real guys, talking bikes and celebrating participation in the ride itself. Very refreshing. Those of you who’ve suffered the condescending talk of peloton wanna be’s at road race events will appreciate laid back content of the guys on Gravel Travel and Dirt. Pull your own favorite local brew, and join in on the crack of the day, you’ll feel as though you’re hanging around the campfire with friends, just chewing the fat. Not just idle talk though. These guys get a lot of the movers and shakers in the gravel world to join in around their circle. They embrace the very essence of gravel rides. There may be faster, stronger riders in the field, but the gravel will kick everyone’s rear just the same. When you’ve finished, first or last, doesn’t really matter, you’ve finished! Joey, Wes and Brian themselves aren’t spouting unreal personal achievements, rather like most of us, amazed at those that do such things, and trying to figure out how to just enjoy the ride! These guys give honest and to the point product reviews based on real world use. Their travel and event recommendations are spot on, and how can you not appreciate a solid “love ya, bye” at each and every sign off. Do yourselves a favor and give these guys a listen. You will end up ahead, for just the good beer, ride and product advice. But just maybe, you’ll be entertained as well. Be safe! Love ya, bye! Steve D

Bring Brian Back?
I gotta admit, I was a bit concerned when I heard there was a Wes & Joey Raw episode without Brian but I have to admit it was great! Way to carry the torch in Savannah mans absence. Great job guys!!

My new go-to digital cycling fix
These guys are great! Awesome chemistry, knowledgeable and passionate about cycling, but without the annoying elitism that often accompanies bike snobs. I think this might be my new favorite podcast.

Excellent discussions, looking forward to each episode!
Gravel is huge, and the options and gear choices are endless. Really fits a need in the podcast list to cover the many topics that can be discussed related to gravel. Plus it’s just fun to listen to, lots of friendly banter and bike stories. Would love to visit the lounge and just hang out with these guys. 👍🏼
