He’s not saying be a pushover, because he definitely wasn’t to his evil opponents, but he didn’t think too highly of himself to suffer and die on a cross, talk to a Samaritan women or wash his disciples feet. Jesus was confident in his identity as the son of God, and nothing could shake his identity, because his relationship with God was tight, and the vision God gave him was clear.&nbsp;
