Mickey has a hard time of it, stuck in a detention centre in the big smoke (Dublin). He keeps getting beaten up and he hates egss. Thankfully he finds two things to help take him away from all that: Basketball - and, now for the first time in his life... Heroin.

Mickey is the type of person you would cross the road to avoid. He is a selfish, drug-addict thief, only a mother could love. If his mother could love. Older brother, Cillian, has prepared Mickey for life on the streets of Cork City, Ireland, teaching him fine skills such as burglary, shoplifting, how to drink and do drugs. Cillian has also carried the weight heaped-on by their domineering drug-lord mother.
But as Cillian grows, he decides he must escape this toxic existence, which is when Mickey’s life begins to spin out of control.
