John Driver opens a new series by exploring the context of Jesus’s famous Sermon on the Mount, focusing on the Beatitudes and what it truly means to be “blessed” and to live in “the Kingdom of Heaven.” Surprisingly, being "poor in spirit” does not mean what most modern Christians think it does, yet the nature and extent of Christ's true invitation to anyone who is spiritually distraught or bankrupt truly is the greatest news imaginable.
