We are both getting our certification through Cornerstone Doula Trainings. Our opinions expressed in this episode are just that - our own opinions. Certification is not necessary in some states, but it is something that felt important to me. It should not be a gatekeeping tactic to keep people from doula support though! Note: we say it in the podcast, but it's nice to have it in writing... Doula care is non medical support.
