Why do we keep writing stories with loose ends? I’m starting to see our edges melt away in the wash. I wanted you to love me, until I did not. You couldn’t seem to remember how, so I too forgot. Look what our overlapping ignorance brought. This is how love rots. Have mercy on our thoughts.

Have MËRCY On my Thoughts 

MËRCY means self and others. Self comes first. You have to be one with yourself and have mercy on yourself. Often times, we are our biggest critics. We beat down on ourselves more than others. So we have to show mercy to ourselves. The others part means that we have to empathize with one another. Putting ourselves in others shoes and understanding where they are coming from is essential to life. Learning how to relate to those who may even seem as those they can’t be related to. .
