“Obsessive thoughts deal in never and impossibility. Obsessive thoughts are never happy since they want only what they cannot have since lies can never be true. “
Willingness cuts both ways like faith, hope, trust, and belief. The will to have faith in faithless things, hope in hopeless things, trust in what is not trustworthy, or belief in the unbelievable only leads to frustration. No matter how long or how hard we focus and pray for obsessive thinking to turn what is false into what is right, real or true it never will, since it never can.
If our state of being is natural then it is only what we choose to think incorrectly that casts shadows of doubt on our experience - giving us the impression that we can be disconnected, alone, and apart from an Infinite source - while it is any baseless thought that we feel since they have no connection with reality.
We haven’t lacked willingness but aligning our will with the natural knowingness that is infinitely greater than we can think, until we begin to think and speak in absolute terms.
Addiction presumes things are backward just as lies are presumed and fought for to be true. Considering our backward conclusions can help us realize the clarity our awareness provides once we notice we are concluding what we are thinking not reality or truth
Reality and Truth are not complicated, difficult, or threatening. It is what we wrongly think of them that is complicated and create that impression since things quickly get complicated once we rely on what we think as though it is true.
There is no Infinite Spirit, God, or Supreme Consciousness that gives or takes from us. The traits we use to blame God are the human traits refuse to admit as though it is possible we can avoid being effected.
Searching to solve the problem that is recreated every time we think it is any more than what we think is wrong, so it seems unsolvable.
Addiction is thought of as a subtle foe until seen clearly as how obscene our delusion and willingness to defend, defy and deny our experience can be when we choose to think it shouldn’t be.
Yet once we put forth any effort that is aligned with Knowledge and concedes how things actually are our experience is immediately confirmed with our greater sense of stability and knowing that are no longer fixated on obsessively entertaining thoughts that are not true.
No amount of human effort or will can be used to create what exists presently. Yet once we are willing to see the lengths we go to maintain thoughts as our source it becomes obvious that nothing has ever been limited to thoughts limits - only our addictive reliance on hoping one day our limited thoughts will come true.
We have humanized God and dispirited humans by making believe it is up to us to achieve what we have been freely given and cannot lose.
We are free to choose what we want so trying to justify wanting to act and feel out of order, out of sorts, and insane will never be sane.
It is only our choices that have no basis, thought of as real and true, that trigger our desperate effort to fix them, rather than notice there is nothing to fix in what does not exist.
