Some Topics Discussed:

  • Progressive means favoring or advocating progress, change, improvement, or reform, as opposed to wishing to maintain things as they are.
  • When conditions get worse it is not progress or progressive. To use worsening conditions to justify maintaining a course is an obsession with a bankrupt idea that is not ideal.
  • There is no fight in addressing things honestly.
  • The primary inner conflict is a wrong thought, thought to be right.
  • What is wrong has no applicable possibility or purpose.
  • Social Ills are the measure of our collective mentally ill thoughts
  • The degradation on our streets is a reflection of our collective failure
  • We cannot be apart from anything we are a part of
  • Mentally obsessive thoughts are like stagnant water: unhealthy
  • The thinking that creates a problem cannot solve the problem - using the same thinking over and over again expecting a different result is insane
  • We can talk about mental health openly as we do any health issues
  • Honest communication is essential to any constructive ends
  • We vote with every choice we make
  • Considering our vote includes polling others and asking if we're asking for the same thing or employing our right to choose anew.
  • Quantity cannot replace quality - more of what is wrong is not better
