Growing up outside of one’s homeplace of Malaysia, food was the strongest connection between a third culture kid and their motherland. When embarking on a new chapter of their life, a college student turns to their Mama to help them with making Malaysia’s well known dish, Salted Egg Chicken with steamed white rice.
