A Review of Total Hip Arthroplasty   Evaluation and Credit:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MedChat54   Target Audience             This activity is targeted toward primary care and geriatric healthcare providers and advanced providers.   Statement of Need  This program will discuss the indications for total hip arthroplasty and identify when patients may benefit from total hip arthroplasty and identify red flags during routine exams of patients that have had total hip arthroplasty.   Objectives  At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to: 
  1. Review the indications for total hip arthroplasty.
  2. Differentiate between the direct anterior approach and posterior approach for total hip arthroplasty.
  3. Identify red flags during routine medical care of patients that have undergone total hip arthroplasty.
