The Parable of the Sower is the foundation for understanding everything Jesus taught about the kingdom of God. God's Word functions like an incorruptible seed, carrying divine revelation inside it, but that revelation must be intentionally pursued. When the crowd heard Jesus teach, most walked away unchanged. A smaller group chose to separate themselves and follow Him further, and to them He revealed the mystery of the kingdom. The condition of the soul determines what the seed produces. Strongholds built through tradition, human theology, and the constant intake of worldly things can prevent God's Word from taking root. Intentional separation from distraction gives the Holy Spirit the time and space to extract revelation from the seeds planted in your soul. The mystery of the kingdom is not hidden from you. It is simply waiting for you to make the choice to pursue it.
