Many Christians struggle to access God's promises despite being saved, often due to an unthankful heart. Like the Israelites who wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, believers today can be blocked from entering their promised land by unthankfulness. The soul becomes corrupted through consuming worldly media, news, and entertainment while only receiving small amounts of God's Word. This creates a clouded soul that blocks God's power from flowing through our lives. The solution involves planting God's incorruptible Word in greater volume, developing relationship with the Holy Spirit, and practicing pure thanksgiving through prayer language when circumstances seem impossible.
