Caregiver burnout is the feeling of being exhausted physically, emotionally, or mentally and there is often a change in attitude from being a positive and warm caregiver to a disengaged, negative and unconcerned one. Caregiver burnout is real and 100% preventable. Today we discuss what burnout is and the implications it has towards our role as caregivers and care partners.
