On this episode of Manga Mavericks, its time once again to cover the newest series from Shonen Jump, but this time with a special guest! We talk about the first few chapters of Blue Box by Kouji Miura & Candy Flurry by Ippon Takegushi and Santa Mitarashi with founder of the Weekly Shogakukan Edition blog and Twitter, Sakaki (@kiirobon)! Even though Sakaki also secretly came on the show to promote the gospel of RYOKO and the rest of Shonen Sunday, he also asked to join us specifically to talk about these two new series, so you KNOW these have to be good!! We also discuss our usual round of monthly news, including Chainsaw dominating in manga sales on the latest Bookscan list, Funimation licensing the entire Prince of Tennis franchise, and last but certainly not least, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train's (continuous) runaway success at the North American box office in its first weekend! Enjoy yet another episode of the podcast thats as packed as the tastiest cream puff!
