It is directed by Kenneth Branagh and stars Ferdia Shaw, Lara McDonnell, Josh Gad, Tamara Smart, Nonso Anozie, Colin Farrell, and Judi Dench.The story follows the 'master plan' of 12 year old Artemis Fowl II, a 12-year-old Irish prodigy. He must team up with Domovoi and Juliet Butler, fairy Holly Short and dwarf Mulch Diggums in order to rescue his father, Artemis Fowl I, who has been kidnapped by a shady mysterious fairy figure. "Artemis Fowl" premiers on Disney+ on June 12 2020.
