Founder, host, and Navy veteran, Gene Moran summarizes year one of the Make Your Move podcast. Tune in as Gene shares the military career transition success stories shared by veterans and what is on deck for 2023.   SUMMARY   The first season of the Make Your Move podcast is in the books. Stories of active duty service and the transition to civilian life and careers have been shared throughout the first 46 episodes. No two stories and answers on the show were alike, even though the questions remained constant throughout the season.     Year one of the podcast demonstrated that success was not dependent on whether a veteran was an officer or an enlisted member and that education was not a deciding factor in post-military career fulfillment. Some went on to start 7 figure companies, and others remained in government service, serving in high-level positions.    The Make Your Move podcast guests served in the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines, or Coast Guard and all displayed two common character traits—courage and resilience.    Thank you to all veterans helping other veterans chart their post-military careers by sharing their voices and stories on this insightful podcast.   EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS   00:0006:05 Gene recaps what was shared throughout the first 46 episodes.   06:0611:09 Observations from the interviews demonstrate that success was not dependent on whether someone was an officer or an enlisted member.   11:1014:48 Gene shares what the focus of the Make Your Move podcast will be in 2023.       Your Move     Show resources: Have you ordered your copy of Make Your Move: Charting Your Post-Military Career?
