Most people still don't discuss the micro steps in between those steps ! Remember ever brand is different and some brand could need more or less planning .So yesterday I was talking to a good friend about the BTS process it takes in building your personal brand and how your confidence can get knocked because of the misinformation or lack of information in landing major contracts, getting signed to a agency, or getting the recognition you believe you deserve when you're consistently showing up. All of these feelings can leave you feeling discouraged from even wanting to show up .Transparency post. I've been there, and I know first hand how your emotions can override how you perform , show up, or actually get started. This month I'm currently reading "Master Your Emotions: A Practical Guide to Overcome Negativity and Better Manage Your Feelings by Thibaut Meurisse… and Chile… it's been a page flipper!! It covers ego , addressing your emotions, and really unpacking why you're feeling the way you are. More importantly it's helped me really focus on why I really love what I do . We often get focused on comparing ourselves, assuming we should be further in life , and measuring ourselves to goals that are completely unrelated to our lives. By doing this we miss out on our happiness that is right in front of us right now. So on this Wakeup To Makeup Wednesday here's some transparent personal branding tips to help you Makeup your brand. Community check: We all started with one follower. Instead of focusing on the audience you wish you had , how can you creativity communicate with the people you do have now ? Find Your Platform : While there are tons of platforms to be on , where have you had the freedom to creativity capture and tell your story? Being authentic starts with you feeling confidence in how you want to communicate to your audience. Don't overthink it, find a place where you can sing out loud… not literally but hey do you boo lol Take it off boo : While eyeliner is fun going on every makeup lover knows taking your makeup off at the end of the day is what it is!! So ...Girl! Take some time off of social media! Finding new ways to plan, organize, and find your creative zone gives you fresh eyes , a new tone , and excitement to see your audience! To be the best, you have to rest just as hard as you play ! I think we all have big dreams and goals in life . But remember Oprah wasn't built in a day . To be the best , build a legacy, and have the impact we desire we have to be the best us . So if you show up today, in one post .
