People living with dementia may behave in ways that seem strange to us. Neurodegeneration (the parts of the brain that is being damaged by the type of dementia), personality, values, and cohort all interact together. You can use this knowledge to "tweak" general approaches to behavior so that these strategies work with your loved one.
