In today's episode, I talk about a life changing experience I had whilst traveling in Thailand during April. I was given the opportunity to volunteer and spend 3 weeks at a Bhikkhunī center or Buddhist nunnery. During my time there I was able to learn more about Buddhism, Vipassana meditation, the art of letting go, and the mindful, peaceful lifestyle of nuns and monks. I am thrilled to be able to chat with you guys about my experiences and spread some of the knowledge and insights I gained as a result of my time there.
We chat...
1. The lifestyle & practices of nuns and monks
2. Path to enlightenment and foundations of Buddhism
3. The power of Vipassana meditation, what it is, and how to receive the benefits
4. Buddhist vs Western views of meditation & mindfulness
5. My experiences, lessons, & takeaways from 4 days of silent meditation
6. ealing with lower vibe thoughts and emotions
7. How to practice letting go & non-attachment
