What happens when the purest of coal burns? It burns. And it burns. and it burns. For 60 years, the mines beneath Centralia have been alight with fires so hot that they sometimes burn blue. Some believe that this place may just be a portal to Hell, and with the damage done to the once prosperous town that's not a hard thing to consider. Alyssa and Lindsay look at the history of Centralia and what steps, if any, have been taken to try and stop the constant burning beneath the ground of this old mining town.
