-35  Antiochus IV vs. Judas Maccabeus  Knowing what's going to happen before you have to go through a painful procedure helps you prepare for the pain, especially when you know that the pain won't last forever. That's what the message to Daniel does for Israel; let's them know that they are headed for a very painful season, but that there will be an end to the pain.
