Blob it's a TV cult show that became a byword for Italy's popular culture. It was initiated by Enrico Ghezzi in 1989. Blob is a postmodern collage that has exposed the paradoxes of the Italian society simply using excerpts of television programs.The first track "Un galantuomo" (1974) is by Juri Camisasca. In the lyrics, he talks about rats running in his veins. It's the trigger point of the transformation, but then he needs to break his head with a hammer in order to let the rats running out. In an endless loop, the hybrid becomes the mutant, and then the mutant becomes the abject and then the abject becomes the exotic object and then a hybrid again.
