Black women with PCOS were taught how not to get pregnant long before we were ever taught how fertility actually works.

In this episode, Tianna is talking about the part nobody wants to say out loud: how fear, shame, birth control, rushed appointments, “just lose weight” advice, and years of being disconnected from our cycles have left too many Black women trying to conceive with PCOS while guessing their way through ovulation.

Because a positive OPK is not always ovulation. A bleed is not always a healthy cycle. And being told your labs are “normal” does not help much when you are still staring at another negative pregnancy test.

This episode goes deeper than fertility tips. Tianna breaks down why body literacy matters, why PCOS fertility needs more than an app or another supplement, and why Black women deserve support that reads the whole pattern: ovulation, blood sugar, symptoms, stress, food rhythm, luteal phase, emotions, and the woman trying to become a mother.

You were taught to prevent pregnancy.

Now it is time to understand your fertility.
