<p>This week’s episode features a digression on Horizons and how time plays an important part in outcomes and achievement. How far out should we be planning our careers? What’s the difference between a guide post and a north star, and how should the two coexist? The trick to planning might be to plan less, and the trick to timing might be changing your metric of measure.</p>

Loop & Point revolves around a simple idea: to learn from people we’re interested in, as well as each other, within the framework of mechanizing one’s own personal development. We'll do this by searching for the common threads or abstracted lessons from those who have excelled in other fields. The name “Loop" is an homage to a positive feedback loop or flywheel in business strategy lexicon. "Point" is a reminder to get to the gist of what really matters. In a personal development sense, we see the Loop & Point as a repeatable set of common lessons or tools helpful to achieve an optimal outcome in life.
