150 years ago, a dead pig was causing a nuisance in Gawler, 100 years ago the arrangements for Anzac Day were being reviewed, 50 years ago plans were afoot for Willaston Sports Ground, 25 years ago a local army depot was being sold, and 10 years ago Briant Mahony known to Gawler as “the man with the dog” was honoured.
