Founded in Los Angeles, in 1992, George Smith Partners, Inc., GSP, is a national provider of capital market services to the commercial real estate industry.
Principal and Co-founder, Gary Tenzer, explains how the company does commercial real estate financing for clients that are developers or investors throughout the country. Financings ranged from a couple of million dollars to the multiple hundreds of millions of dollars, including single tenant transactions to multiple multi-tenant transactions, residential track construction, and high-rise construction.
The company is close to completing about $4.5-billion dollars in financing this year in a variety of capital structures.
Gary has a BA from UC Berkeley in Economics, an MBA in Finance from USC, an MSBA in Real Estate Finance from USC and has held a California Real Estate Brokerage license for over 40 years.
