In this episode we bring to life the letter Benjamin Bannekar wrote to Thomas Jefferson to accompany an almanac he calculated by hand and had delivered to him. In the process of giving him the almanac, he took a moment to discuss with him the contradictions contained in the Declaration of Independence in regards to the treatment of Black people in the recently formed United States.
