This message teaches that the gospel is good news and emphasizes living daily by grace through faith, based on the finished work of Jesus. Using 2 Corinthians 5:7 and Hebrews 11:1, Pastor Al explains that “sight” refers to the five senses and that believers must leave the sense realm and perceive the unseen realities of God’s Spirit realm. Faith comes by continually hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17), and the Word and faith are presented as inseparable—God’s Word provides evidence and conviction for what cannot be sensed. Illustrations include TV signal receivers. Pastor Al explains that God's Word is a “guide” to God’s promises including healing and provision.
