133 million Americans or 45% of the population have at least one chronic disease. These chronic diseases are responsible for seven out of every ten deaths within the U.S., killing more than 1.7 million Americans each year, yet we don't feel it's an epidemic. Of these, one stands above the rest as the fastest growing killer of humans.
