History is told by the victors. And even though we've been warned that those who fail to learn the lessons of history, are doomed to repeat it, our political leaders charge ahead with certainty. This time things will be different. I've been thinking a lot about history recently. Trying to figure out who I am, where we are as a nation, and where we are going. It's not a simple calculus, but it's an incredibly interesting time to do research and delve deep into these stories. In this episode I briefly outline some of the things I've been reading and then discuss three of my favorite historians. The great Dan Carlin. Thadeus Russell. And my guest Daniele Bolelli. His History on Fire Podcast is one of the best in business and he was the first person to agree to sit down with me. It's a great conversation about the Past, the Present and where we might be headed.
