Kari's mission is to help self-identified nerds accept and love themselves and others so they can live their most romantic life! Being a nerd herself, she understands the unique struggles self-identified nerds face in dating - specifically being awkward. Over many years of self help books, multiple degrees in Psychology, and numerous certificates in wellness, Kari learned that the best way to get dates, find great love, and have fun while doing it, was to lean into the things she was afraid of showing others (ie: being super awkward and vulnerable). Once she allowed her full awkwardness to shine through, she was able to relax into dating and romance, stop worrying so much, and actually have fun with the whole process! Kari is a trauma informed coach and believes the current way we are "taught" to date and relate harms everyone. She is passionate about teaching people ethical ways of dating and relating so everyone's full humanity is respected, seen, and acknowledged.
