Here I open up some more details of why we started this podcast and our goals for it. I also reveal a little more about myself and my mentality. Life on fire is tough and we are here to go through it together.

We are the Wilkersons - a married couple just trying to climb the ladder of our careers without getting axed. We hope you are entertained, possibly fired up, by our podcast as we discuss off-the-clock reflections about our experiences in the field of education and fire department life. We aspire to share our "school of thought" and "cross the fire line" (insert all other career-related puns) as a means to take the heat we face and use it to fuel the fire that motivates us.
