At the end of 2019, I was on top of the world cruising the Mediterranean on a 20-year anniversary trip, but my bliss turned into a hellish nightmare when my husband told me at the beginning of 2020 that he was leaving me. If that weren't enough, COVID 19 came along and forced us all into a lonely quarantine. I had a choice, do I play the victim and hide away with a bottle of vodka and fall into depression or do I choose to be victorious and use this pain to rise above. This is my story.
