Coach Skaggs has been married to his wife, Megan, for 10 years and together they have 4 children; Will (8), Maci (5), Thea (2), and Michael Joseph ‘MJ’, who rests in Heaven’s Hands.  Both Coach Skaggs and his wife grew up outside of Kansas, but have settled and made the Shawnee Heights area their home.Coach Skaggs earned his Bachelors of Science in Sociology and Coaching from Benedictine College where he played on the 2001 NAIA Final Four Football team.  He then attended Emporia State University where he earned a Masters of Education in School Counseling degree This is his 10th year as a school counselor.Coach Skaggs has coached high school football for 10 plus years. This is his 4th year at Shawnee Heights High School where he is also a School Counselor (A-G).
