Pemba, a coral reef off the coast of Zimbabwe, is home to many boronias. To tourists, these fish are an important part of the reef ecosystem. But to conservationists, these fish are a symbol of dysfunction. Why? Because the boronias grazing on the coral are eating away at the reef's carbon hump, a crucial part of the coral reef ecosystem.
