He reminded His disciples of this and was anointed by Mary in preparation for burial. After this, Judas went and betrayed Jesus to the religious leaders for thirty pieces of silver. Jesus acquired a place to celebrated the Passover and reveals that one of His disciples would betray Him. Judas then departs and goes to bring the chief priests. Jesus continued the Passover celebration with the remaining eleven, giving new meanings to specific parts of the observance. After the Passover, they went to Gethsemane, where Jesus was overcome with great spiritual anxiety. And asking His disciples to pray with Him, He also prayed.
