This week on Let’s Get Candid the crew was joined by Architectural Designer & Developer Kier Adams-Hegner who shared her experiences with building a legacy of her own. Kier, who is the daughter of local industry tycoons Kenneth & Evelyn Adams got candid as she spoke about the misconceptions people often hold about generational wealth/privileged.
Mrs. Hegner spoke about the wedding of the century that took place on Saturday, Jan 22. 2022 to her husband Alvin Hegner - Aviation Specialist, Innovator & Entrepreneur. The conversation touched on the following areas:
• The process of building an legacy; having to become yourself beyond the legacy you were born into. What were the misconceptions people had about you based on your family? How is it living within those misconceptions?
• Building your own legacy. With plans of having our own families how do we go about creating a legacy for them? What kind of values are we hoping will be evident in our own legacy?
• How would we define ourselves? If we were speaking to someone who had no clue of TCI and our backgrounds, how would we introduce ourselves to them? What is one thing we wish that people would know about us?
