On this week's episode, Keith is joined by Courtney Mandock, an individual who rebels against stereotypes and refuses to be defined. Not only is Courtney a full-time mechanical engineer but she is also the winner of Miss Manitoba World & Miss Teen Manitoba World. Since recording this podcast Courtney went on to compete and win Miss Intercontinental Canada 2019. Based on her experiences, Courtney founded Refractions of a Reality, a community dedicated to creating a safe space for people to share their true and authentic selves.
Within the interview, Keith and Courtney discuss the concept of self-love, and how too often we look outwards for love and acceptance, rather than within ourselves. Their conversation acts as a reminder that beauty is already within us all and that we don't have to prove anything to anyone in order to feel good enough or worthy.
