This week's episode of #LetMeSipPod starts with another sip of tea ☕ following the news of the beginning of Lori Harvey relationship with Michael B Jordan and that of the end of Kim and Kanye's. We share our thoughts on the Kardashian/Jenner family enterprise and how they have built a dynasty in such a short time.
Following on from Meek Mill's advice on Twitter regarding people's priorities when comparing their spending habits 💸 to their investment mindsets 📈 we give our thoughts on investments - is it taking risks or simply gambling? Is an expensive wardrobe always a liability or can some things appreciate in time?  Do you need to be have passion or a vested interest to invest?
We also question what it means to be wealthy? 💰 We ask what are your streams of income? If you stopped working today would you be okay for the next few months/years? How important is it to have diversified investments and assets?
Later we discuss the potential impact of the new strains of coronavirus 🤧 and their increased rates of transmission. Would you take the vaccine 💉 or leave it? We look at the mental health implications of an extended lockdown and also touch on Brexit and the tensions with Europe 🇪🇺 including new proposals to force UK artists performing in the EU to apply for visas.
With an eye towards new year plans and goals we consider the opportunities lockdown has brought including savings in time and money. And in the context of the protests following George Floyd's death, we question whether it has created the environment for bringing important issues to global attention to affect political change ✊🏾
