“Does wanting to be with someone rich or comfortable make you a gold diggers?" 🗣️In this episode the #LetMeSipPod team look at social media and its effect. We ask has social media changed the nature of stalking? And are there certain things you should never post on social media? This week we also question how ready are people to support their friends projects and business ventures on social media? Does this take away from their own shine? And would it make you feel some way if a friend has not supported you during the come up, but is there once you become an established brand? We then ask if you can expect to benefit directly from your friend's success e.g. whether you are entitled to enjoy the perks of their lifestyle if they make it? And do you ever feel that someone is trying to stick around to benefit from your success and how would you deal with this? The squad also ask whether it is possible to outgrow or move on past old friends after reaching success? And what this says about the strengths or values of that friendship? Finally the group have a tense debate on whether you should only date people who appear to have the same means/finances as you? And if someone looks like they don't, should they be automatically overlooked?
