Welcome to Lessons Learned Soul Tribe. Today, we're going to talk about the Ego in a little bit more depth because I can't overstate the importance of understanding how the ego works and how it was even built.  From the time that you came into this world through your mother’s womb, different aspects of your personality or layers if you will were created through the experiences that we've had. In all of that, all of these different ideals or perceptions of who are were created and shaped. The difficult part about that is overtime, through all of these experiences your true nature was pretty much oppressed for the most part, especially if you been through traumatic situations. So I wanted to talk about that because as you go on your journey, you're going to discover that you're going to be working through these different aspects with these different layers and in doing so it's going be liberating as well as it's  just hard to do sometimes. Because these things have been things that have been placed on you from placed on you from childhood or things that you owned lock stock and barrel because you've got that to your response to be. So you know really facing that and being aware of it and drilling down into the root of it.  I can't stress how important this is. So I ask you to really look at your life again remember what we talked about in in other sessions about being Sherlock Holmes.  Become the detective in your life so that you can start to recognize  these layers, get to the root of them and then also start shedding them. Because what you're going find out as you go further and further on your journey is, they are not who you are, they are an aspect of you that was put on you at one point in time, but they are not the real you. So I encourage you today to begin the journey to really discovering who you are and how wonderful you are! Whether there is light or dark in the discovery, in the end love and light will always win!
