Rhetorious, the Egyptian, was a 6th or 7th century AD Astrologer.  His work, titled the “Astrological Compendium,” presented a seminal view of Ancient Astrology.  In the “Compendium,” Rhetorius presented the rationale for the order of the Zodiac Signs in the Zodiac Circle.
