One big advertisement
The host and guests are waaay too excited when talking about Excel and the entire episodes end up feeling like a cheerleading rally for a particular feature of Excel often sprinkled in with invitations to buy some product the host or guest is selling. I didn't learn anything about Excel except for the motivation to go to the library and get a proper tutorial.

EXCELlent podcast for advanced users too
I was initially unsure of what level this podcast would speak to as far as Excel users. I am the most advanced excel user at my company and I absolutely love this podcast. Additionally, I think this blog provides a lot of good recommendations for users that want to begin using excel and/or take their skills to the next level. I didn't think I'd enjoy so much talking about each interviewee but everyone has so much passion about excel that even the less technical aspects are fun to listen to.

Excel with MrExcel
Found this interview very interesting. As a Visicalc & Lotus 1-2-3 user prior to my conversion to Excel in 1995, it was fascinating to hear the history of spreadsheets through Bill Jelen's eyes. I'm a novice Podcast person so don't know all the ins & outs of its potential. Will there eventually be video to go with the audio? That would take it from 4 to 5 stars for me.

Need Visual
I've always been an Excel enthusiast and now that I know there is an entire community out there dedicated to just that, it's exciting! I'd like to give the podcast a higher rating, but Excel teaching should really be done with examples and visual clues in my opinion.

Love this PodCast
I listened to the newest of the podcasts and not only did I learn something new, but was also introduced to a new reference for Excel questions and education. I didn't think a podcast for a microsoft office product could be helpful or even keep my attention, but it was and it did ! I am always on the lookout for tips/tricks and new information for Excel. I am a self learner and rely on these types of avenues to reach Excel Enlightenment :)

Going beyond Beginning Excel Thank you!
Self taught myself Excel a long time ago. Knew there was so much more I could do. This is a great format to learn from. Like the links from your website for each podcast. Really like the samples on your website and how this will help me work smarter not harder!

Amazing Excel Training!!
This material is absolutely phenomenal! For those who have always wanted to learn Excel or even expand your existing Excel skills, these are definitely the courses to take! The instruction is clear, comprehensive, and self-paced. Investing in yourself is never a bad idea. And that couldn't be more applicable when it comes to learning Excel. You will save yourself hours upon hours of frustration by applying the lessons taught in this course, and it will help propel your career forward. Thank you SO much, John, for creating such an engaging and well-structured resource! You're awesome!

Digestible Delectable Nuggets of Excel Knowledge
I've subscribed to both the Power Pivot and Dashboard training sessions and I can honestly say that these bite-sized bits of videos are enough to play here and there in a busy day and build your professional abilities. If you are like me and have limited time, these lessons are a godsend. A few minutes each day teaches you enough tricks to save you more than twice the video time and pain in building spreadsheets. The best part is also the community forum Q/A's where you can submit particular questions. Sometimes I have a particular issue or spreadsheet challenge that's not specifically covered in the modules and the support and feedback from the comments sections saves WAY more time when working on particularly complex issues. The people that put these courses together are great!

An great add-in
I have been reading blogs and getting help from forums, for years in all things Excel. So to find this podcast is a really good addition to the Excel content, where we can listen to the real people behind the great content on the web. It gives a meaningful and honest contest to everything else out there. Thanks John.

Excel Help in one place
Thank you for putting this podcast together. The guests give GREAT information and where to go to get solid answers for questions. I am constantly learning about Excel, but know that I am far from an expert. Look forward to continuing to learn about the possibilities.

Good Content
The podcast is in a great format and talks normally about Excel and offers insight that is obtainable from novice to expert. It might be fun to have a screenshare type video where the experts are riffing on ideas and we can follow in real time.

This is a great podcast!
Great podcast, and really like John's style! Have just finished listening to the 2nd podcast with Chris, The Spreadsheet Guru. Awesome supply of resources for Excel help. Can't wait to listen to the rest of the podcasts! Thank you!

Outstanding (as expected)
I work for GE and fondly remember John's screencast on his internal Excel blog. His presence and willingness to share his extraordinary expertise is much missed. Alas, this podcast is apparently only available via iTunes, which is a complete non-starter for me. So until it is available through some other channel, I'll not be able to benefit from it. A shame, that.

Priceless
My mind is buzzing with all the ways I can present client data in an eye catching and attention catching way. I have been doing charts by hand for years and clients thought that was great. Just wait. The best part is you don't feel like a "DUMMY" working with the podcasts. A thousand thank you's.

Excited to be subscribed to this podcast!

Outstanding Wealth of information
As John says, only 5% of all Excel users actually use the product to potential. While I consider myself a fairly knowledgeable user, I can see where I'm probably not yet anywhere close to that 5% - but with John's help, I'm getting there and having fun doing it!

Simply put "priceless!!!"
Thank you John Michaloudis for starting this great initiative. Like you said "you never stop learning" the information Excel users will get from these podcasts are Priceless!!!! It has a bit of everything, the brief bio of MVPs, authors and how they got their enthusiasm in Excel and sharing their favorite cool tricks and tips.

Invaluable!
This is great resource to get acquainted with a vast array of Excel topics and expert blogs! This has helped take away my fear of coding array greatly! However, this is naturally a bit difficult to follow without visuals and I feel the length should be no longer than a typical commute - 20-30 min.
From Public to Industry
Fantastic resource! A must have for anyone wanting to be great at Excel
Traffic interviews with tons of tips, techniques and resources that will transform you into a star using Excel. Of of the best podcasts I subscribe to.

Useful Excel Information
Thanks John. I’ve listened to the first two podcasts - intro and VBA & add-ins - and am looking forward to listening to the podcasts from Mr. Excel Bill Jelen and, forgive me, Ms Dashboard Mynda Tracey. I hope you also include Mike Girvin from Excelisfun in a future podcast. The podcasts are easy to listen to while driving and I am looking forward to improving my skills with the tips and tricks the podcasts offer.
