Why do we say what we say to our kids?  And why do fizzy kids not respond to it in the way that we want them to?!
Kicking off this first season of podcasts, Ali steps into the murky world of trying to understand what lies behind the language, voice tone and behaviours that we use with our kids.  She also seeks to work out why fizzy kids (those who are more sensitive than their peers or may have learning or emotional difficulties) cannot respond to a more traditional form of parenting.  Why won't they just do as they're told?  Why do they become even more defiant when they are shouted at?  Why can't they just calm down?
Join Ali in this first episode as she shares her own parenting story and reasons for starting a journey to transform her parenting language and approach for her own fizzy kids.
Further episodes will focus on ideas for a new parenting language for the Angry Child, Anxious Child, Rude Child and more!
