Many think that vaccine mandate litigation only includes quacks as plaintiffs and attorneys. Like employment and personal injury attorneys, those who represent anti-vaxxers are painted with a broad brush, often negative. But our guest today doesn’t neatly fit into a box. Scott Street is a credible litigator with a successful history in high-stakes litigation (we worked on a 100M case together); we were in the same law class at Loyola Law School and have been active in democratic politics for years. But he has been at the forefront of the fight against vaccine mandates and other related litigation. In this episode of LawFlip, we discuss why. We discuss vaccine mandates, how the Covid vaccine compares to other vaccines, how hypocritical politicians on both sides have been, and we each give our take on the Russia/Ukraine crisis.
