Today I am joined by Mama, Dr Kathryn Hackman. Kathryn is a doctor, mum and the founder of Courageous Kids. Kathryn knows the heartbreak of separation anxiety, and understands the limitations of the health care and education systems to provide children with the tailored supports they need. Sick of the talk fest, and needing practical solutions fast, she created Courageous Kids: an App to empower parents and carers to directly support their kids. In her spare time, she tries to keep up with her wheel-crazy kids as they cycle and rollerblade across Melbourne. On this episode we talk about Kathryn's journey as a student and medical professional prior to children, and how motherhood changed her and her line of work. We also delve into the start-up details of Courageous Kids, as well as the trials and tribulations with developing an App! This episode is sure to touch the heart of many parents who are raising sensitive souls in a world that lacks support for these little ones. It will also help those who are considering the development of an App, with a few key takeaways important for success.Show notes:Where to find Kathryn and her business, Courageous KidsWebsiteInstagram Additional show notes:NEW SERVICE - Resume Review & Critique.
