An heir to the empire who hates rule by birthright.  Her noble protector and secret wife.  A criminal pretending to be a man of the cloth.  A bard who sold her soul for magic, and an artificer with a panache for blowing things up.  Together they find themselves on the same ship traveling the Stout Isles.  

You'd think that out numbered and out gunned the crew would surrender, right?  Not these plucky heroes(?).  This is the very reason to throw hands and cross blades.  And feed signet rings to ducks.
