Tonight we’re watching Danny Boyle’s 2000 Thriller - THE BEACH. Yeah, we know, it’s NOT TECHNICALLY HORROR, but for people who are scared of sharks and Tilda Swinton on a power trip, this IS HARDCORE. Fresh off another “worst vacation ever” film (TITANIC), Leo travels to a remote island in Thailand where Burners have created their own paradise off the grid, but like all beach raves, somebody’s gonna totally freak out before this party’s over. Based on the book by Alex Garland (Dir. EX MACHINA, ANNIHILATION, and writer of 28 DAYS LATER) and featuring legit the best sound track ever: New Order, The Chemical Brothers, Leftfield, Underworld, All Saints, Moby, Sugar Ray, & fuckin’ Bob Marley’s Redemption Song, bro! We just got to the beach and dropped a pin, so good luck finding us!
